Wedmore Extending Table

The Wedmore Table is distinctive in that it extends from 2.2m, seating 8, right up to 3.55m, seating 14. What’s also remarkable is that, unlike most other extending tables, it is made from solid timber. As it extends, the tapered shape enables diners to stay in visual contact with each other for greater conviviality and sociability. There are three leaves with room to store two of them inside the table.

Hidden details
It is very rare to find an extending dining table made from solid timber, especially one that extends so far. The Wedmore has its own cleverly designed extending mechanism made from solid brass. It is as beautiful as it is functional. It’s just a shame that it has to be hidden away!
