Gleda High Chair
Designed By Space Copenhagen
A timeless design with flowing lines, the Gleda is crafted from solid oak. Visually light with slender spindle back and a patinated brass rail the Gleda is available in low, medium and high-backed versions and offered with two choices of arms and finishes.
In collaboration with the Naturalmat company, we have developed 100% natural fillings using sustainable and non-toxic coir, latex and sheep’s wool. Upholstering in natural wool eradicates the need for toxic fire-retardant chemicals.
We offer the Gleda chair upholstered in Benchmark Naturals – our exclusive collection of natural, textural wools developed in collaboration with Tibor. Alternatively we can upholster in your own choice of fabric or leather. We will need 4m of fabric.

Space Copenhagen
Danish studio Space Copenhagen is known for defying habits and employing a sincere personal vision to their design. Their interior design projects include the world’s best restaurant NOMA, as well as the acclaimed New York hotel, 11 Howard.

Thoughtful detailing
The Gleda chair is inspired by the traditional spindle chair but with a higher level of comfort and more fluid and modern look. The brass rods and details that add the finishing touches to the Gleda chair are patinated by our specialist metalworkers at our workshop in Kintbury.
