Benchmark Natural Fabrics
Building upon our commitment to create natural, non toxic furniture, we have developed our own range of natural, textural wool fabrics in close collaboration with British textile manufacturer, Tibor.
Woven in Lancashire using the richest wools and softest organic cottons, these fabrics are exclusive to Benchmark and available for all our upholstered pieces.
The collection includes a reversible flat wool, a bouclé and a boiled wool – with each available in three colourways.
The fabrics, in ecru, charcoal, deep blue and sky blue, work harmoniously together to create textural interest in interior schemes.
We chose to develop wool fabrics because they are inherently fire retardant which means that they meet fire regulations without the addition of toxic fire retardant chemicals.
For complete transparency, our fabric and furniture has Red List Free and Declare labelling – an internationally recognised ingredients list for products that shows where it comes from, what is made of and where it goes at the end of its life. Red List Free means that it contains no harmful toxic chemicals and meets the standards for WELL certified buildings.
