A celebration of wood, the Sylva meeting table is made from character timber. We embrace the natural beauty and characteristics of the wood, stabilising the splits and knots with butterflies and/or resin where necessary. The edges can be left wainy or straightened.

About the designer
Benchmark
Our in-house design team are renowned for their design resolution skills and their wide knowledge and experience of different materials and techniques. They work on bespoke projects in collaboration with architects and designers as well as designing for our own furniture collection.
Special Details
Butterfly Joint
Not all the timber will have splits but we rather like it when it does. We stabilise the split with these butterfly ties – a traditional woodworking technique. We think they are rather beautiful. Occasionally, resin will be added for extra stability but we prefer to keep it as natural as possible.
