OVO Low Stool

Clear Selection×

Made in solid oak with a choice of ebonised or natural finish and solid walnut, the OVO low stool is a perfect partner to the OVO dining table or as occasional seating and used as a side table when not required. It is available with a timber top which  has a pillowed top surface and softly bevelled edge which makes it both comfortable to sit on and incredibly tactile.  Alternatively, an upholstered version adds softness and understated elegance.

We have chosen Sorensen Dunes Leather for its smooth, almost velvety matt finish.  It is an aniline leather with subtle natural markings and will look even better as it ages.  This collection of leather has received the Nordic Swan Ecolabel – a highly-respected certification verifying that it meets their rigorous requirements regarding the environment, use of energy and resources.

About the designer

Foster + Partners

Foster + Partners is a global studio for architecture, urbanism and design, rooted in sustainability, which was founded in 1967 by Norman Foster.  OVO is designed by their industrial design team which has developed a wide range of products from door handles to wind turbines; from a fountain pen to the cabin of an executive jet.

A sense of home

Maggie's Cancer Centre

The OVO collection builds on an earlier partnership with Foster + Partners to produce bespoke furniture for the Maggie’s cancer centre in Manchester.  OVO carries forward the sense of home it brought to the project and has since been specified for a number of commercial projects.
