We first designed the Boundary carver for the Boundary Restaurant. Following the success, we decided to launch the same design as a side chair. Equally beautiful with its shapely legs and curves and just as comfortable. Alternatively, it works well as an occasional chair in a hallway or bedroom.

About the designer
Terence Conran
Terence Conran is one of the world’s best known designers. He founded Benchmark with Sean Sutcliffe over 30 years ago and our workshop and showroom are situated in the grounds of his country home. He often says that Benchmark is the business that is closest to both his home and his heart.

The Boundary Chair was originally designed for The Boundary Restaurant in Shoreditch, London. Since then it has been specified for many homes & commercial projects due to its comfort and classic design which enables it to sit comfortably in both traditional and contemporary spaces. Most recently it has been specified for Soho Farmhouse and Kettner’s Townhouse.
